Semi-Homemade Jello Pudding Pops!

It's time for another Tasty Tuesday!!

I spotted these Popsicle makers at Dollar Tree this weekend and immediately thought about how easy it would be to make healthy Popsicles with real fruit for my family.  Then I thought about Jello Pop's -anyone else remember them?  Frozen jello on a stick - yummy!!  I told my kids about them and about Pudding Pops - of course they wanted to make pudding pops first.

I picked up 2 of these 4-pop holders for $1 each at Dollar Tree.
Then I mixed one small package of instant pudding according to the instructions on the box.  Pour them immediately into the molds (pudding sets fast!).  Put them in the freezer overnight.  To pop them out of the mold I ran them under hot water for about 30 seconds and they came out perfectly!
Enjoy!!
I can't wait till we eat all these so I can make Jello Pops & Fruit pops with fresh fruit - YUMMY!

  1. Mmmmm!! I want some of those popsicle molds! Where exactly did you get them? The ones I looked at @ Walmart tonight look like junk & are $2 for 4 of them - same with Rite Aides...yours look SO much cuter & better.
Did you get the newest Tastefully Simple Mag? There are several fruit flavored Jello popsicle recipes in it! I bought the supplies tonight. Just need the molds. Looks like SO much fun to make with the kids!

  2. If I come this weekend I'll pack the molds. I got them at Dollar Tree in St Mary's on my day trip to visit Kim & Elle. I could ask her to pick up a couple for you next time she is in the store? They have a dollar tree in Lima over by Papa John's and Ray's and Walmart if you ever get over there..
I will check out tastefully simple!

  3. I bought some very similar to these last summer...luv 'em!!! Keep them around at the holidays --I have three kids under the age of 11 and we used them as molds for Rice Crispy Treat Christmas Trees!!! We just sprayed the inside with a little Pam and they slid right out then the kiddos decorated them with with all kinds of little candies and cake decor toppings -- way fun and kept them busy for about half an hour! Love the pudding pops! Try pureed (spelling???) bananas and straweberries too!! Happy Summer!! (DILLY DALLY'S IN ROY HAD THESE FOR 70 CENTS LAST WEEK!!!!!)
