Simple & Yummy Chicken Pot Pie

It’s TUESDAY!!! I can’t help but want to share a tasty recipe with you! It’s one that I’ve shared with many of my friends but it originally came from my mom. I love it because it’s so delicious, but it’s also SO easy to throw together.

Chicken Pot Pie

  1 1/2 cups Cooked Chicken

  1 Can Veg-All Mixed Veggies

2 Cans Cream of Potato Soup

  1/2 Cup Milk

  1/2 tsp Thyme

  1/2 tsp Pepper

  2 Frozen Pie Crusts

  1 Egg Slightly Beaten.

Mix chicken, veggies, potato soup, milk & seasonings together. Place into 1 of the pie crusts & top with the other pie crusts. Seal edges & make a few slits in the top of the crust to vent. Brush top crust with beaten egg.

Bake at 375 for 40 minutes. Cool for 10 min before serving.

  3. Yum! That looks so good. I have never made chicken pot pie with cream of potato, but really like cream of potato, so I bet it is good. One question, do you freeze it before or after you cook it?

  5. If you were to freeze this would you freeze it before baking it? Then how would you bake it? Frozen? thawed? how long? Looks delish!
